The Laundress recalls 8 million products due to potentially high levels of bacteria
On December 1, The Laundress issued a recall for nearly 8 million of its products due to potentially high levels of bacteria including Burkholderia cepacia complex, Klebsiella aerogenes and multiple different species of Pseudomonas.
After sounding the alarm by issuing an initial Safety Notice in late November, The Laundress advised consumers to immediately stop using ALL of The Laundress products.

The Laundress is known for its luxury “non-toxic” laundry and household cleaning products, however, the presence of elevated levels of the above referenced bacteria was recently discovered in their products. Due to the bacterial contamination of Laundress products, use of the recalled products can lead to serious infections in individuals with weakened immune systems.
According to thelaundressrecall.com, if you purchased a recalled product on or after January 1, 2021, you can submit a photo of the bottle, a valid receipt, or your email address to submit for a reimbursement from The Laundress.
If you purchased The Laundress products, you may be able to join a class-action lawsuit and potentially receive additional compensation. For us to properly analyze your potential case, we will need:

Typically, we represent clients on contingency fee agreements. If we take your case under a contingency fee arrangement, you won’t owe our firm any legal fees unless we are able to recover money for you.
Our contingency fee agreements are usually based on a percentage of the amount we recover for our clients. The contingency fee amount is determined by the type of case, our estimate of how long it will take to resolve your case, and our estimate of the litigation costs we will advance in your case. Each engagement agreement includes the details of the fee arrangement. Questions about our fee agreements are welcomed and encouraged.
In most litigation matters, it is extremely difficult – practically impossible – to predict how long it will take to resolve a particular case. Every case is different, and we will do our best to provide you with an estimate based on your case and our experience with similar cases. Moreover, we will do our best to keep you updated and manage expectations along the way.
We handle cases that change lives. Contact us today for a FREE consultation.
