Meaghan Mulvey is an associate at Peiffer Wolf’s New Orleans office, representing clients in our Product Liability Practice Area, as well as Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices.
Rooted in New Orleans from birth, Meaghan received her Bachelor of Science from Tulane University. She then went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While at Loyola Law, Meaghan demonstrated a keen ability to tackle diverse legal issues, from personal injury and workers’ compensation to criminal defense and civil rights. As a member of Loyola Law’s Trial Advocacy, Moot Court, and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program, she actively contributed to key legal initiatives and was selected to represent Loyola Law in the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition. She quickly became known among her classmates for her commitment to justice and advocacy for all. She was elected and served two years as Vice President and then President of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF). In addition, Meaghan has practical courtroom experience as a Rule XX Student Practitioner in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic & Center for Social Justice, where she represented indigent defendants and achieved notable successes in criminal defense.
Throughout her career, she has shown exceptional skill in trial preparation and legal research and a passion for upholding justice. Before joining Peiffer Wolf, Meaghan worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Parish of Orleans where she prosecuted cases within the felony trials division.
Meaghan is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.
With a longstanding commitment to animal welfare, Meaghan has been an active and dedicated animal rescuer throughout the New Orleans community for many years. She enjoys cycling, running on the levee with her four dogs, and seeking out the perfect cup of coffee New Orleans has to offer.
